The facility is comprised of three main processing plants: a Wellhead Production Plant, Crude Oil Stabilizer Plant, and a Gas Hydrocarbon Dew Point Control Plant utilizing propane refrigeration.
The Wellhead Production Plant includes a 2.5 MMBtu/hr Indirect Line Heater complete with two split-pass flow coils. After the Heater, the stream is separated in two 3-Phase Inlet Separators. The Separators were sized to separate 3.8 MMSCFD of gas, 2,177 Bbl/d if crude oil, and 5,000 Bbl/d of water. The crude oil is fed to a Stabilizer Tower and Reboiler in order to reduce the vapor pressure to 10.5 psia. The vapors from the stabilizer are re compressed and combined with the gas from the 3-Phase Separator. The combined gas is processed in a Hydrocarbon Dew Point Control Plant, which results in a dew point of -20 degrees Fahrenheit. The plant cooling is provided by propane refrigeration while hydrate inhibition is provided by an ethylene glycol injection/regeneration system. The NGL produced during the hydrocarbon dew point depression are further processed in a Demethanizer Tower and Reboiler resulting in 480 Bbl/d of sale able NGL product.
