Measurement Project
City: Casper
State: Wyoming
Situation:
CO2 is being utilized to frac a well to bring fluids up the hole for disposal. A prime of liquid CO2 has to be present at the high pressure displacing pumps at all times during the frac. The current pressure to the high pressure displacing pumps is insufficient.
Customer requires a CO2 pressure boost anywhere from 50 psi to 100 psi to ensure 100% liquid is present at the high pressure pump.
Solution:
The J.W. Williams, Inc. designed Booster Pump apparatus will increase the pressure from 50 psi up to 100 psi. And to maintain safety, the Booster Pump allows operation from a safe distance of 150 feet away.
Once the engine on the trailer is started by hand, all hydraulic valve operation is run via a CAT5 cable from a laptop computer. The running of the unit and ESD operation is completely by remote.
